I’d like to share a suggestion based on our recent customer interactions during CX Cloud onboarding and presentations.
While the CX Cloud portal provides an excellent overview of customer environments and associated risks, we’ve noticed the lack of a feature that enables granular and customizable extraction of vulnerability data, particularly in a line-by-line format per device — as was possible through the Product Alerts Report in the legacy CSPC tool.
Currently, the vulnerability data is presented in grouped blocks by type or product, which limits the ability to isolate specific affected devices. This makes it difficult for customers to analyze and manipulate the data using BI tools, Excel, or APIs, reducing the strategic value of the information.
In a recent meeting with a customer, their feedback was very clear:
“The portal is excellent, but we need reports that make it easier to integrate with BI tools or APIs.”
Our suggestion is for Cisco to consider adding a report format similar to what was available in CSPC, where each device and its corresponding vulnerabilities are listed in detail — ideally exportable in CSV or consumable via API.
We believe this enhancement would add even more value to the platform and improve adoption for customers needing frequent internal analysis.
